Antonia <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se han clonado dos genes de schwanniomyces occidentalis, el gen hak1, implicado en el sistema de entrada de k+ de alta afinidad y el gen ena1 implicado en la tolerancia a na+ y li+.Hak1 complemento la entrada de k+ defectiva del mutante trk1 trk2 de saccharomyces cerevisiae y presento una alta capacidad para concentrar el k+. La secuencia de aminoacidos traducida del gen hak1 mostro un 60% de homolog\u00eda con el transportador de k+ kup de escherichia coli. Los resultados obtenidos indican que en celulas ayunadas de k+ de schw. Occidentalis el sistema codificado por hak1 es el principal transportador de k+.  la proteina deducida del gen ena1 presento un 75% de homolog\u00eda con las patpasas ena de s. Cerevisiae. La cepa mutante de schw. Occidentalis con el gen ena1 interrumpido mostro alta sensibilidad al na+ y li+.  un mutante de schizosaccharomyces pombe que tiene los genes sod2 interrumpidos, transformado ena1 de s.  cerevisiae, expreso la proteina ena 1 y recupero la salida y tolerancia a na+. La cepa silvestre de s. Pombe fue sensible a los gradientes de h+ y na+ mientras que el mutante transformado con ena1 fue independiente a estos gradientes.
