Como un paso previo, se realiz\u00f3 el estudio de la soldabilidad de la aleaci\u00f3n de aluminio aa6082,cuyas car\u00e1cter\u00edsticas son similares a la aleaci\u00f3n matriz del matrial compuesto.  el proceso seleccionado para realizar el soldeo fue arco bajo gas protector con electrodo consumible (mig o gmaw), empleando para obtener un mejor control de la transferencia de metal al ba\u00f1o el modo de arco pulsado(gmaw-p). se ensayaron dos tipos de materiales de aportaci\u00f3n:er5356(a1mg5) y er4043(a1si5).  uno de los requerimientos b\u00e1sicos del proceso de soldeo dise\u00f1ado era reducir al m\u00e1ximo el aporte t\u00e9rmico para controlar el grado de diluci\u00f3n en los cordones de soldadura. Con ello se pretend\u00eda limitar la cantidad de material compuesto base fundido, y el tiempo y temperatura de contacto entre las part\u00edculas de sic y el aluminio fundido, reduciendo as\u00ed los
