Echium wildpretii pears &amp; hook fil.Subsp.Wildpretii (boraginaceae). el extracto crudo se someti\u00f3 a un fraccionamiento qu\u00edmico guiado por bioensayos frente a diferentes insectos y hongos fitopat\u00f3genos obteni\u00e9ndose varias fracciones lip\u00eddicas (\u00e1cidos grasos, \u00e9steres met\u00edlicos y et\u00edlicos y n-alcanos); una mezcla de ftalato de dibutilo\/di-isobutilo; un triterpeno pentac\u00edclico (glutinol, 1); tres esteroles (beta-sitosterol, 2; 3beta 7alfa-hidroxisitosterol, 3 y ek 7 alfa-metoxisitosterol, 4) y un alcaloide pirrolizid\u00ednico del tipo di\u00e9ster de cadena abierta (equimidina, 5). Estos productos se caracterizaron sobre la base de sus propiedades f\u00edsicas y espectroc\u00f3picas y sus actividades se compararon con otros derivados y\/o productos comerciales. Las fracciones lip\u00eddicas de e.Wildpretii resultaron ser fagorrepelentes frente a leptinotarsa decem y ilineata como consecuencia de la presencia de compuestos minoritarios de pm= y trazas de \u00e1cidos grasos de cadenas intermedias (9-12 \u00e1tomos de carbono), mientras que le hexadecanoato de metilo es el responsable de la inhibici\u00f3n por asentamiento de myzus persicae y diuraphis noxia. La mezcla compuesta por ftalato de dibutilo\/di-isobutilo tuvo actividad repelente frente a l. Decemlineata y s.Littoralis as\u00ed como repelencia selectiva fretne a las diferentes especies de \u00e1fidos m. Persicae, d. Noxia, methopolopium dirhodum, rophalosiphum padi y r. Maidis) de acuerdo con la adaptaciones tr\u00f3ficas de los mismos. El glutionl tuvo una actividad antialimentaria significativa frente a l. Decemilineata. El estudio de la relaci\u00f3n estructura-actividad de los diferentes triterpenos pentac\u00edclicos puso de manifiesto la importancia de los sustituyentes -betaoh y =0 en c-3, en ausencia de una insaturaci\u00f3n en el anillo d.
