Propone aumentos de frecuencia, y de densidad de corriente para compensar un significativo aumento del entrehierro, seg\u00fan el factor de calidad enunciado por el prof. E.R. Latwaite en los a\u00f1os 60. Su tem\u00e1tica abre muchas lineas de trabajo futuro. En algunos casos solo se esbozan pues quedan fuera del alcance de una tesis. Pretende romer el t\u00f3pico seg\u00fan el que se suele considerar a las m\u00e1quinas electricas como una tecn\u00f3logia bastante madura, solo suceptible de ligeras mejoras.  analiza los motores de flujo axial, muy poco tratados en la literatura t\u00e9cnica.  la metodolog\u00eda empleada basicamente experimental con interaciones te\u00f3ricas y num\u00e9ricas, permite aborda un estudio muy pluridisciplinar y de conjunto en el que raramente se conocen antecedentes. Permite abordar simultaneamente las problematicas de los circuito b\u00e1sicos de toda m\u00e1quina el\u00e9ctronica: el\u00e9ctronico, diel\u00e9ctrico, magn\u00e9tico, t\u00e9rmico y mec\u00e1nico.  tambi\u00e9n se consideran las diferentes problem\u00e1ticas constructivas que pueden ser cr\u00edticas y que es muy raro encontrar en una tesis doctoral.  se proponen soluciones constructivas novedosas, de f\u00e1cil industrializaci\u00f3n y especialmente adecuadas para la aplicaci\u00f3n de los nuevos materiales superconductores de alta temperatura.  es destacable la afirmaci\u00f3n de
