Se eligio como demostrador un laser dbr sintonizable de tres secciones. Dado su excelente funcionamiento, se puede concluir que el objetivo ha sido alcanzado. Se ha dedicado un esfuerzo adicional al establecimiento de criterios de caracterizacion que permitieran la fabricacion sistematica de nuevas estructuras o la investigacion de nuevos aspectos
