Las gluteninas de alto peso molecular de los loci glu-1 tienen un mayor efecto positivo y significativo sobre la calidad, mostrando tambien efectos aditivos e interactivos, algunos de ellos negativos sobre varios parametros de calidad. Las gliadinas\/gluteninas de bajo peso molecular tienen efectos positivos menores, mostrando diferencias significativas en determinados fondos geneticos de gluteninas de alto peso molecular. En los tres cruzamientos se han encontrado lineas recombinantes con mayores valores medios para algunos parametros de calidad que sus respectivos parentales.
