Por un lado, la intensidad de estas interacciones se han intentado maximizar para conseguir aumentar la estabilidad de relevantes enzimas industriales: estabilizaci\u00f3n de enzimas monom\u00e9ricas por uni\u00f3n covalente multipuntual (estabilizaci\u00f3n de enzimas por rigidificaci\u00f3n) o estabilizaci\u00f3n de enzimas multim\u00e9ricas por inmovilizaci\u00f3n multisubunidades (estabilizaci\u00f3n o prote\u00ednas multim\u00e9ricas). Por otro lado, en otros casos la intensidad de las interacciones enzima-soporte se han intentado minimizar para dise\u00f1ar nuevos soportes a medida para optimizar t\u00e9cnicas de purificaci\u00f3n de enzimas por cromatograf\u00eda de afinidad.  adem\u00e1s, fruto de las investigaciones realizadas se han desarrollado nuevos m\u00e9todos de inmovilizaci\u00f3n covalente de enzimas sobre soportes activados con grupos ep\u00f3xido, nuevos soportes activados con grupos ep\u00f3xido, nuevos soportes para la inmovilizaci\u00f3n no distorisonante y reversible de prote\u00ednas (soporte
