La ploid\u00eda del dna, el indice de dna y el porcentaje de c\u00e9lulas en fase s(%fase-s), han sido publicados por numerosos autores con la intenci\u00f3n de proporcionar una mayor informaci\u00f3n en relaci\u00f3n sobre el valor predictivo de \u00e9stos. Otros estudios, sin embargo, han desestimado totalmente el valor predictivo de estas variables.  el objetivo del presente trabajo es valorar el papel de la heterogeneidad intratumoral a trav\u00e9s del estudio de los datos proporcionados por la citometr\u00eda de flujo(ploid\u00eda del dna,\u00edndice de dna y %fase-s), manteniendo constantes las dem\u00e1s variables y con la peculiar aplicaci\u00f3n de un programa inform\u00e1tico espec\u00edfico para el an\u00e1lisis del ciclo celular.  las conclusiones principales han sido: 1. En el c\u00e1ncer de mama la heterogeneidad intratumoral puede demostrarse por diversos procedimientos t\u00e9cnicos de valoraci\u00f3n de las poblaciones celulares, siendo la citometr\u00eda de flujo uno de ellos. 2. No existe correlaci\u00f3n significativa entre el n\u00famero de clonas celulares y el porcentaje de c\u00e9lulas en fase s y el tama\u00f1o y el grado del tumor, lo cual indica que los tumores peque\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n son heterogeneos. 3. Existe un alto grado de heterogeneidad intratumoral, valorando la ploidia del dna, el indice de dna y el porcentaje de c\u00e9lulas en fase s. Esta caracter\u00edstica tumoral puede advertirse tanto en material congelado como en material parafinado.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
