La herramienta de onda completa empleada es una combinacion del metodo de ajuste modal am y el metodo de los elementos finitos mef que permite obtener la matriz de dispersion multimodo mdm de todos los bloques que componen la estructura (ranuras rectangulares, iris cruciformes, y tornillos). Se describira un proceso de dise\u00f1o sistematico para cada uno de estos elementos. Tanto el espesor finito de los irises como la interaccion de los modos superiores y los tornillos de acoplo y sintonia son tenidos en cuenta rigurosamente. El nuevo dise\u00f1o unicamente requiere un tornillo de sintonia por cavidad, lo que redunda en unas perdidas menores y en una simplificacion del proceso de sintonia.  ademas se hara una prediccion completa de todos los espurios fuera de banda previa construccion del filtro. Se dedicara especial atencion al modelo circuital, lo que permitira un ahorro elevado de esfuerzo computacional en el ajuste final. Para validar el metodo propuesto se ha dise\u00f1ado y construido un filtro dual-mode eliptico de cuarto orden en guia circular, mostrando los resultados experimentales una excelente concordancia con
