Pintor comprometido dado su talante progresista, dedic\u00f3 la mayor parte de su producci\u00f3n a representar el mundo de los trabajadores del campo y el mar de su isla, a traves de un lenguaje que recog\u00eda muchas de las conquistas de la pintura moderna, asi como otros elementos plasticos propios.
