Dentro de esta especie se incluyen pat\u00f3genos que producen marchitez vascular en un gran numero de cultivos de importancia econ\u00f3mica, provocando en las plantas que infectan la enfermedad conocida como fusariosis.  para penetrar y colonizar el sistema vascular de la planta a la que atacan, estos pat\u00f3genos producen distintas enzimas extracelulares que degradan la pared vegetal. El xilano es el principal componente hemicelul\u00f3sico de las paredes vegetales, por lo que las enzimas que degradan este complejo polisac\u00e1rido son importantes para que el hongo supere con \u00e9xito las barreras estructurales del hospedador y avance en su invasi\u00f3n. El sistema xilanol\u00edtico lo integran distintas enzimas, siendo las principales las endo-b-1,4-xilanasas, llamadas comunmente xilanasas, que rompen enlaces internos del esqueleto de xilano.  el sistema xilanol\u00edtico de f.Oxyporum est\u00e1 integrado por varias xilanasas: se ha purificado y caracterizado la enzima xyl1, y se han clonado y caracterizado los genes xy12 y xy13, perteneciendo estas tres xilanasas a la familia 10. En este trabajo se han aislado y caracterizado dos nuevos genes xilanasa, xy14 y xy15, pertenecientes a la familia 11. Ambos genes se expresan en cultivo ax\u00e9nico, siendo el xilano el principal sustrato inductor, si bien xy15 tambien se expresa en presencia de carboximetilcelulosa y de tejido vascular de tomate. La expresi\u00f3n de xy14 esta regulada por la fuente de carbono, la fuente de nitr\u00f3geno y el ph ambiental.  los genes xy14 y xy15 se expresan en plantas de tomate infectadas por f.Oxysporum f.Sp. Lycpersici, lo que indica su posible participaci\u00f3n en la patogenesis, aunque sus patrones de expresi\u00f3n son distintos. Nuestro estudio se ha dirigido tambien a determinar si las xilanasas de f.Oxysporum son esenciales en patogenesis,y para ello se han inactivado los genes xy13,xy14<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
