Las redes de difracci\u00f3n en fibra resultan especialmente atractivas de cara a tal aplicaci\u00f3n en tanto que los recientes avances tecnol\u00f3gicos permiten el crecimiento de perfiles de \u00edndice pr\u00e1cticamente \u00aba medida\u00bb, capaces de proporcionar las caracter\u00edsticas de filtrado y\/o dispersi\u00f3n que en cada caso se requieran.  se trata adem\u00e1s de componentes pasivos en fibra \u00f3ptica, muy compactos, que introducen muy bajas p\u00e9rdidas de inserci\u00f3n, y resultan actualmente baratos y f\u00e1ciles de fabricar.  el desarrollo del trabajo descansa sobre dos herramientas f\u00edsico &#8211; matem\u00e1ticas: las distribuciones de se\u00f1al tiempo &#8211; frecuencia (tf) y las dualidades \u00f3pticas espacio &#8211; tiempo. La primera parte de la tesis introduce la red de difracci\u00f3n en fibra como potencial candidato para la implementaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica de las t\u00e9cnicas de procesado \u00f3ptico de se\u00f1al requeridas en las futuras de redes de comunicaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptica por fibra (cap\u00edtulo 1), presenta las principales aportaciones de este trabajo en este campo (cap\u00edtulo 2) y discute los modelos te\u00f3ricos de redes de difracci\u00f3n en fibra de que se hace uso a lo largo del mismo (cap\u00edtulo 3).  en una segunda parte, se introduce la representaci\u00f3n de se\u00f1al tf y se aplica al an\u00e1lisis de las propiedades \u00f3pticas y dispersivas de redes de difracci\u00f3n en fibra (cap\u00edtulo 4). El an\u00e1lisis tf permite acceder al comportamiento f\u00edsico, a nivel microsc\u00f3pico, de estos componentes, revelando detalles no accesibles por ning\u00fan otro m\u00e9todo. Es m\u00e1s, sobre la base de la informaci\u00f3n proporcionada por este tipo de an\u00e1lisis, se propone una nueva t\u00e9cnica para la reconstrucci\u00f3n de par\u00e1metros f\u00edsicos
