Sin embargo, no es capaz de replicarse en especie diferentes como escherichia coli. El inicio de la replicaci\u00f3n de pps10 implica la acci\u00f3n concertada de factores plasm\u00eddicos, tales como la prote\u00edna de replicaci\u00f3n repa y las secuencias nucleicas (iterones) del origen de replicaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como de otros factores del hu\u00e9sped.  en esta tesis doctoral se ha profundizado enla identificai\u00f3n de factores plasm\u00eddicos y factores codificados por la bacteria hospedadora que determinan el rando de hu\u00e9sped de pps10. A tal fin, se han realizado experimentos de mutag\u00e9nesis al azar de pps10 y del cormosoma de escherichia coli, aisl\u00e1ndose mutantes que permiten el establecimeinto efectivo del pl\u00e1smido en este microorganismo.  nuestros resultados indican que la modificaic\u00f3n del rango de hu\u00e9sped de pps10 puede conseguirse a trav\u00e9s la mutaci\u00f3n de repa y del operador que regula su expresi\u00f3n, as\u00ed como, al menos, a trav\u00e9s de la prote\u00edna dnaa del hu\u00e9sped, lo que indica que el rango de hu\u00e9spede de los pl\u00e1smidos est\u00e1 regulado por m\u00faltiples factores que favorecen, en \u00faltima instancia, la formaci\u00f3n del complejo iniciador de la replicaci\u00f3n.  por \u00faltimo, los derivados mutantes de pps10 son capaces de establecerse en otras especies adem\u00e1s de e.
