Para adquirir este nivel de habilidad se precisa de un sistema de control capaz de tratar todos los grados de libertad redundantes as\u00ed como de actuar de forma flexible y autoadaptable actuando sobre las articulaciones del brazo, mu\u00f1eca y garra del robot. por otro lado, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han logrado grandes avances en el an\u00e1lisis y modelado del sistema control visuo-motor humano, esto ha motivado que aumente el inter\u00e9s por transferir estas investigaciones sobre los principios biol\u00f3gicos del control motor humano a la rob\u00f3tica.  el objetivo gen\u00e9rico de esta tesis va en esta direcci\u00f3n, se pretende aplicar los m\u00e1s recientes modelos neuronales del control visuo-motor humano sobre una plataforma robot que emula f\u00edsicamente al sistema visuo-motor humano. Para llevar a cabo este objetivo global se abordan dos aspectos fundamentales en esta tesis.  1,- dise\u00f1o y desarrollo de un sistema de visi\u00f3n activa novedoso que emule al sistema oculo motor humano. En este punto se presentan los detalles de los an\u00e1lisis y de los dise\u00f1os que condujeron finalmente a un cabezal estereosc\u00f3pico desde el punto de vista de la inspiraci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica tanto en lo concerniente a la estructura mec\u00e1nica como al sistema de control.  2,- implantaci\u00f3n de los modelos neuronales de control senso-motor humano sobre una estructura rob\u00f3tica cabeza-brazo. Se ha dise\u00f1ado una arquitectura de control neuronal la cual integra un conjunto de redes que modelan ciertas funciones descubiertas en los seres vivos y que est\u00e1n relacionadas con el
