Se ha estudiado el efecto de un amplio espectro de variables de operaci\u00f3n en las propiedades estructurales de los latex. las conclusiones observadas experimentalmente han conducido al desarrollo de un modelo matematico que predice tanto la cinetica como distribucion de pesos moleculares de la parte soluble, el nivel de ramas y el contenido en gel, tan importantes desde el punto de vista de propiedades del latex.  dicho estudio ha permitido clarificar la controversia respecto al valor de la constante de propagacion del acrilato de butilo- parametro clave para el modelado-, demostrandose que su valor es mas bajo que el obtenido mediante la tecnica aceptada por la iupac, polimerizacion mediante laser pulsado.
