Isabel <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Con la presente revisi\u00f3n, nos proponemos contribuir al estudio de algunos de los f\u00e1rmacos denominados venot\u00f3nicos, empleados desde hace tiempo en terap\u00e9utica pero cuyo mecanismo de acci\u00f3n permanece a\u00fan sin dilucidar.  experiencias anteriores realizadas en nuestro departamento han puesto de manifiesto la capacidad de ciertos flavonoides y cumarinas para inhibir la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria. Con el objeto de profundizar en el conocimiento de su mecanismo de acci\u00f3n, nos proponemos evaluar la posible implicaci\u00f3n de cumarina, esculina, esculetina, antocian\u00f3sidos, dobesilato y junglona sobre la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria \u00abin vitro\u00bb e \u00abin vivo\u00bb. Con el fin de buscar los mecanismos bioqu\u00edmicos responsables de dicha actividad y tratar de establecer una relaci\u00f3n estructura qu\u00edmica-actividad farmacol\u00f3gica. En primer lugar se determina la capacidad antiagregante plaquetaria \u00abin vitro\u00bb en muestras de sangre total y plasma enriquecido en plaquetas. A continuaci\u00f3n se eval\u00faa su actividad en un modelo experimental de trombosis estandarizada \u00abin vivo\u00bb. Por \u00faltimo, se valora la actividad cox-plaquetaria bien mediante la detecci\u00f3n de metabolitos derivados de su actividad (mda, txb2) o por ensayos colorim\u00e9tricos con el enzima puro recombinante.  todos los compuestos ensayados mostraron una capacidad inhibidora de la agregaci\u00f3n plaquetaria, si bien ninguno, salvo esculetina, posee actividad sobre la cox en el interior de la plaqueta.
