Se han investigado muestras porosas tipo \u00abn\u00bb y \u00abp\u00bb y se han utilizado t\u00e9cnicas de espectroscop\u00eda de desorci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica (tds), infrarroja de transformada de fourier (ftir) y de fotoluminiscencia (pl).  se ha encontrado que la superficie de si-poroso principalmente desorbe h2 y mol\u00e9culas de sih4 que se forman por recombinaci\u00f3n de h con un trihidruro (-sih3). Se ha estudiado de forma completa la cin\u00e9tica de desorci\u00f3n de esas especies. Se ha encontrado igualmente que la p\u00e9rdida de fotoluminiscencia se relaciona bien con la creci\u00f3n de enlaces libres en la superficie de si-poroso promovida por la desorci\u00f3n de cualquier
