Para determinar el valor de las interferencias electromagneticas (emi) conducidas de modo diferencial se presenta un metodo que consiste en la utilizacion de un conjunto de abacos y ecuaciones que han sido elaborados para este fin. Este metodo a su vez constituye la aportacion mas importante de este trabajo, el cual ha sido elaborado para todos los convertidores basicos operando como prerreguladores del factor de potencia (pfps). Buscando minimizar estas interferencias se ha extendido el metodo fm (frecuencia variable) con tiempo de conduccion del interruptor constante propuesto por albach para el convertidor elevador, a los demas pfps basicos. Tambien se destaca como aportacion del presente trabajo un estudio unificado de todos los convertidores basicos trabajando como pfps lo cual permite su dise\u00f1o.
