Se han estudiado reacciones de n-(2,2-diclorovinil)amidas y n-(1,2,2,2-tetracloroetil)amidas con aminas y alcoholes proporcionando amino y alcoxiderivados que son transformados en 4-amino y 4-alcoxi-2-oxazolinas mediante reducci\u00f3n cat\u00f3dica. Tal conversi\u00f3n se explica a trav\u00e9s de la electrogeneraci\u00f3n de intermedios clorocarbani\u00f3nicos, los cuales evlucionar\u00edan transfiriendo su carga negativa a un hetero\u00e1tomo, origin\u00e1ndose especies con centros de actividad opuesta (nucle\u00f3fila y electr\u00f3fila) que har\u00edan factibles los procesos de heterociclaci\u00f3n.  se ha estudiado el comportamiento qu\u00edmico de 4-alquilamino-2-oxazolinas frente a isocianatos e isotiocianatos. Las reacciones con tosilisocianatos conducen a 3-alquil-4-amido-1-tosil-2-imidazolidinonas, mietnras que los isocianatos e isotiocianatos que no soportan el grupo tosilo conducen a 2-imino-1,3-oxazolidinas y 2-imino-1,3-tiazolidinas respectivamente.  se han determinado por critstalograf\u00eda de rayos-x las estructuras moleculares de los siguientes compuestos: 4-benzamido-3-metil-1-tosil-2-imidazolidinona; 4-(1-bencil-3-fenilureido)-2-fenil-2-oxazolina; 4-(1-isopropil-3-(4-nitrofenil) ureido)-2-fenil-2-oxazolina; clorhidrato de
