La composici\u00f3n (co96fe4)72.5si12.5b15 ha sido analizada por presentarse en ella valores \u00f3ptimos de la magnetoimpedancia gigante (gmi). Se han estudiado las propiedades de hilos amorfo en el estado as-cast, as\u00ed como sometidos a diferentes tratamientos t\u00e9rmicos con tensiones mec\u00e1nicas aplicadas, y a procesos de reducci\u00f3n de di\u00e1metro mediante trefilado. el estudio de las propiedades magn\u00e9ticas se ha llevado a cabo mediante la obtenci\u00f3n de ciclos de hist\u00e9resis de baja frecuencia de cuatro tipos diferentes: axiales, longitudinales, ciclos de efecto matteucci y widemann inverso. Los resultados obtenidos en hilos tratados t\u00e9rmicamente evidencia una particular estructura de dominios y la existencia de una anisotrop\u00eda helicoidal que se traduce en desplazamientos de los ciclos de hist\u00e9resis axiales por un efecto de anisotrop\u00eda de canje.  una segunda parte del trabajo trata sobre el fen\u00f3meno de la magneto impedancia gigante en estos materiales. Se establece una correlaci\u00f3n entre el proceso de imanaci\u00f3n y el fen\u00f3meno de la magnetoimpedancia a trav\u00e9s de la susceptibilidad circular. la \u00faltima parte de trabajo se centra en la descripci\u00f3n de tres prototipos de sensores magn\u00e9ticos construidos haciendo uso de la gmi, que se han desarrollado en colaboraci\u00f3n con empresas
