La metodolog\u00eda empleada en esta investigaci\u00f3n es el m\u00e9todo hermene\u00fatico como una interpretaci\u00f3n y compresi\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de la axiolog\u00eda ambiental que se transmite, sesga y oculta en este material educativo.  el estudio aborda los fundamentos filos\u00f3ficos, psicol\u00f3gicos y pedag\u00f3gicos de la axiolog\u00eda ambiental que permiten interpretar y analizar la forma en que se materializa una educaci\u00f3n en valores ambientales en los libros de texto de ciencias.
