Se parte de la base de intentar obtener un modelo \u00abnatural\u00bb de estudio del sph reuniendo las especies de un g\u00e9nero numeroso, 31 especies, f\u00e1cilmente diferenciables por sus caracteres fenot\u00edpicos, para comprobar las diferencias existentes respecto a los modelos \u00abartificiales\u00bb estudiados hasta el momento, en los que el polimorfismo sph parece ser casi ilimitado. Estos modelos \u00abno naturales\u00bb han sufrido un \u00abcuello de botella\u00bb poblacional y han estado sometidos posteriormente a una eleveda consanguinidad en su r\u00e1pida expansi\u00f3n, y quiz\u00e1 eso ser\u00eda la causa de su elevado polimorfismo.  dentro del genero carduelis, el grupo de l\u00faganos sudamericanos ha resultado ser una poblaci\u00f3n natural interesante para estudiar debido a su r\u00e1pida radiaci\u00f3n coincidente con la formaci\u00f3n del istmo de panam\u00e1. Estas especies colonizaron en poco tiempo todo el continente sudamericanos, comenzando por los andes, tras la aparici\u00f3n, por motivos clim\u00e1ticos y geol\u00f3gicos, de ciertas plantas mesot\u00e9rmicas de las que se alimentan. Se propone el estudio de la evoluci\u00f3n de los genes de histocompatibilidad de clase i de los l\u00faganos sudamericanos dentro del proceso de radiaci\u00f3n sufrido en la colonizaci\u00f3n del nuevo territorio. se ha obtenido secuencias de adn de dichos genes en los l\u00faganos, y han sido analizadas en profundidad a nivel evolutivo, estructural y
