Se ha demostrado la relaci\u00f3n entre desajustes del control transcripcional con enfermedades como el cancer; es por lo tanto de gran importancia la comprensi\u00f3n de las bases moleculares de dicho control. La transcripci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica est\u00e1 regulada por proteinas que se unen al adn de forma especifica llamadas factores de transcripci\u00f3n. el objetivo del presente trabajo de tesis es el dise\u00f1o y sintesis de an\u00e1logos pept\u00eddicos del factor de transcripci\u00f3n de levaduras gcn4. Dicho factor de transcripci\u00f3n interacciona con el surco mayor del adn en forma de d\u00edmero. el dise\u00f1o de las mol\u00e9culas sintetizadas simplifica el motivo de union al adn tomando unicamente uno de los mon\u00f3meros, mimetizando el otro por medio de una mol\u00e9cula peque\u00f1a capaz de unirse al surco menor del adn. Se llev\u00f3 a cabo la s\u00edntesis y evaluaci\u00f3n de la capacidad de uni\u00f3n de diversas mol\u00e9culas formadas por la uni\u00f3n covalente de la regi\u00f3n de reconocimiento del gcn4 con an\u00e1logos de la distamicina, cuya uni\u00f3n al surco menor del adn ha sido ampliamente documentada. Las pruebas llevadas a cabo mediante tecnicas de dicro\u00edsmo circular y desplazamiento en gel de poliacrilamida demostraron la capacidad de uni\u00f3n al adn de uno de los an\u00e1logos sintetizados, con una constante de afinidad en el rango de concentraciones nano molar. Dichos experimentos tambien demostraron la importancia de la cadena que conecta la regi\u00f3n b\u00e1sica del gcn4 con el tripirrol an\u00e1logo de la distamicina para permitir la uni\u00f3n al adn
