El trabajo tiene enfoques m\u00faltiples que van desde la historia, la historia del arte y la historia de la medicina hasta la vida cotidiana. Propone cuatro lecturas del cuerpo en dolor: la dificultad de su representaci\u00f3n; la relaci\u00f3n de dolor y placer; el arte corporal y su relaci\u00f3n con determinados rituales inici\u00e1ticos
