Se realiz\u00f3 un estudio composicional en el diagrama ternario pbo-mgo-nb2o5 estudiando excesos de pb y mg, ya que va a repercutir positivamente en la formaci\u00f3n de pmn como fase \u00fanica.  las muestras se caracterizaron por an\u00e1lisis t\u00e9rmico, difracci\u00f3n de rayos x, microscop\u00eda electronica de barrido y de transmisi\u00f3n de alta resoluci\u00f3n, microsonda de electrones y difraci\u00f3n de electrones de \u00e1rea seleccionada, y se realizaron medidas de permitividad el\u00e9ctrica.  aquellos materiales que presentaron pmn como fase \u00fanica poseen todas las caracteristicas id\u00f3neas para ser un buen ferroel\u00e9ctrico relaxor: m\u00e1ximo ancho de la constante diel\u00e9ctrica con la tc y valores de er elevados (=23.000), entre otras. Los estudios microestructurales explicaron las diferencias en el comportamiento el\u00e9ctrico de las muestras.
