Mar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Este trabajo estudia la homolog\u00eda funcional de los genes cdc6 de la levadura de gemaci\u00f3n saccharomyces cervisiae y cdc18+ de la levadura de fisi\u00f3n schizosaccharomyces pombe, genes esenciales para el inicio de la replicaci\u00f3n del dna en estos organismos. Dicha homolog\u00eda se demuestra mediante la complementaci\u00f3n, en condiciones espec\u00edficas, de defectos asociados a determinadas mutaciones de cdc 18 o a la ausencia de este gen.  tambi\u00e9n aborda el an\u00e1lisis de las interacciones moleculares entre la prote\u00edna heter\u00f3loga y los complejos de la principal quinasa de s.Pombe, cdc2, con el fin de establecer semejanzas y diferencias en los mecanismos de control del inicio de la replicaci\u00f3n en estas levaduras.
