La metodolog\u00eda implementada en esta tesis refleja la relacion dialectica entre teoria y practica al considerar tres momentos de la investigacion. Primero, la recuperacion del conocimiento surgido de la practica que se realiza mediante un estudio de caso de un proyecto educativo, la escuela de promotoras legales realizada en tegucigalpa, honduras (1993-1997). Segundo, la sistematizacion de temas de estudio que responden a algunos de los cuestionamientos y problemas fundamentales encontrados en la reflexi\u00f3n en torno a la practica pasada analizada en el estudio de caso. Estos temas son: la educacion popular feminista, el genero en el desarrollo y las tradicioes de pensamiento feministas. Un analisis de las diferentes corrientes teoricas y enfoques de cada uno de estos temas lo permite el uso de ciertas herramientas conceptuales como los paradigmas de la investigaci\u00f3n social y educativa y el concepto de cosmovisiones (weltanschauung o nociones generales del mundo, del ser humano y de la sociedad). Y el ultimo momento de la sistematizacion, un replanteamiento de la practica futura que concluye con una propuesta teorico-metodologica en la cual conscientemente se explicitan las decisiones metate\u00f3ricas, teoricas y metodologicas que orientan la acci\u00f3n de un proyecto educativo de desarrollo dentro del marco de los movimientos de mujeres de los sectores populares de america
