Susana <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La presente investigacion esta encaminada a la aplicaci\u00f3n de un programa de estrategias metacognitivas para la mejora de la comprension lectora a un nivel universitario, a fin de apoyar al docente, para que establezca de una manera consciente, un curriculum inserto en su asignatura, propiciando estrategias y desarrollando habilidades para que sus alumnos puedan convertirse en lectores comprensivos. Todo ello con una filosofia de que el alumno gradualmente de manera independiente se asuma responsable de su \u00abaventura\u00bb en el arte de aprender a aprender, crecer y llegar a ser, desde la consciencia de ser un lector critico y que aprender es una intima experiencia personal, en la cual los maestros son los mediadores de la activacion de el proceso de aprendizaje. El presente trabajo se estructura de la siguiente manera:  la primera parte comprende la fundamentacion teorica, integrada por cinco capitulos que permiten tener un referente teorico del cognoscitivismo, constructivismo, metacognicio, comprension lectora, estrategias de comprenson lectora y la ense\u00f1anza de las estrategias metacognitivas.  la segunda parte comprende el dise\u00f1o del programa de estrategas metacognitivas para la mejora de la comprension lectora (procom. Lec),en el que se presenta una contextualizacion del dise\u00f1o del programa, la propuesta del manual del maestro, la carpeta de trabajo para el alumno y el curso de formacion docente.
