Se justifica el tema desde el apremio de la reforma educativa espa\u00f1ola, en las cajas rojas, al conocer el programa de enriquecimiento instrumental (pei) de r.Feuerstein, que fundamenta y da las claves del nuevo paradigma mediador.  la investigacion parte de la confeccion y validacion del cuestionario del perfil del profesor mediador, que consta de 32 rasgos. A traves del metodo de la observacion participante se integran aportaciones que dan respuesta a cada uno de los rasgos para brindar una metodolog\u00eda de la mediacion para el docente.  la tesis presenta un hondo analisis de la teoria de la mediacion en la reforma educativa y en r.Feuerstein y se completa con algunos elementos teoricos con la sintesis de la bibliografia mas actual sobre los temas cognitivos y de la psicolog\u00eda del aprendizaje.  el perfil del mediador recoge la experiencia practica y docente, a traves la observacion del comportamiento de los mediadores, y las aportaciones de los programas actuales que se orientan a los procesos de ense\u00f1anza-aprendizaje centrados en el educando.  las conclusiones y prospectivas de la tesis se proyecta muy diversos campos educativos en un futuro abierto por la multiculturalidad, la sociedad del conocimiento, las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, etc. Se sintetiza en un glosario un vocabulario en torno a la mediacion y
