Esta idea aplicada a la obra de planton se ha traducido esencialmente en el estudio de la tradicion oral en el corpus plat\u00f3nico. Estudiar la tradici\u00f3n en platon ha significado tener en cuenta todo un conjunto de relatos, costumbres, leyes no escritas, proverbios que forman parte del conglomerado heredado y transmitido por los griegos.  el estudio ha partido de una premisas fundamentales: la funcion de la escritura platonica como \u00abrecordatorio\u00bb, a primacia de la palabra oral en la cultura griega y la necesidad de seguir las huellas de la tradicion. a partir de estas premisas se han estudiado toda una serie de vobablos que podrian dar algunas pistas sobre el tema de la tradicion. Estos vocablso son \u00abdoxa\u00bb, \u00abmythos\u00bb, \u00abpheme\u00bb, \u00abakoe\u00bb, y \u00abmytholog\u00eda\u00bb. La palabra \u00abmythos\u00bb hace referencia al contenido de la tradicion, es la palabra transmitida por la memoria popular. Relacionado con el vocablo \u00abmythos\u00bb se encuentran las palabras \u00abakoe\u00bb y \u00abpheme\u00bb, fundamentales para entender el hecho mismo de la
