La porci\u00f3n de la mah es \u00f3ptima para la reconstrucci\u00f3n corneal, y la porci\u00f3n materna para la reconstrucci\u00f3n conjuntival. La mah es rica en col\u00e1geno vi, laminina y \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico (ah).  2,- el estudio del proceso de cicatrizaci\u00f3n en la restauraci\u00f3n de c\u00f3rneas perforadas con trasplante de mah en conejos se hizo en dos fases: cicatrizaci\u00f3n de la herida y remodelaci\u00f3n de la estructura corneal.  la mah promueve una m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida cicatrizaci\u00f3n de la herida corneal, con menor reacci\u00f3n cicatricial, y remodela la cornea a una estructura transparente con mayor cantidad de col\u00e1geno vi y cambiando concentraci\u00f3n de ah, sin que la mah pase a formar parte de la c\u00f3rnea hu\u00e9sped.  3,- el estudio de la mah en el tratamiento de las \u00falceras corneales perforadas mostr\u00f3 que el trasplante de mah es cl\u00ednicamente una cirug\u00eda efectiva para reconstruir la estructura corneal y el epitelio conjuntival, producido menos dolor, menos inflamaci\u00f3n y menos reacci\u00f3n cicatricial. en los ojos con sequedad grave, el parche punctual de los canal\u00edculos lacrimales con mah es un m\u00e9todo efectivo e ideal para retener el contenido l\u00edquido de la cuenca lacrimal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
