El sector se tratar\u00e1 como un elemento individual de 4 accesos y servir\u00e1 para el an\u00e1lisis, mediante la teor\u00eda circuital, de problemas m\u00e1s complejos y, en general, inhomog\u00e9neos.  otra aplicaci\u00f3n directa de esta teor\u00eda y del elemento sector circular, es el an\u00e1lisis de la cu\u00f1a diel\u00e9ctrica inhomog\u00e9na, con las aplicaciones inmediatas que esto tiene a los fen\u00f3menos de difraccion.  en todos los casos plateados se han constrastado los resultados con los disponibles en la biliograf\u00eda, concluy\u00e9ndose que el m\u00e9todo es sumamente preciso en todos los casos propuestos.  por \u00fatlimo, se han analziado otros problemas no resueltos en la bilbiograf\u00eda y que son de inter\u00e9s, como los cilindros
