Angeles <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A partir de muestras de cereales se aislaron 118 cepas pertenecientes al genero penicillium. De estas se realiza un estudio de sus caracteristicas culturales y morfologicas y se clasifican en secciones, subsecciones y series o grupos de especies. Las series mas abundantes son penicillium brevicompactum y p. Verrucosum. Se realiza un estudio exploratorio de la actividad entomotoxica, antagonista de la hormona juvenil, bactericida y fungicida de 20 cepas de penicillium. Para ello se cultivan y se obtienen 3 extractos, uno de caldo y dos de micelio. Los extractos de caldo resultaron mas activos que los de micelio. Segun los resultados obtenidos se selecciona la cepa de penicillium de mayor actividad entomotoxica, esta se clasifico como p.  chrysogenum. Se elige el extracto que dio mayor actividad y se estudia en hplc (cromatografia liquida de alta resolucion) para anular y purificar los compuestos activos. Se han aislado 13 compuestos de los que se obtienen sus espectros de masas, infrarrojos, y rmn de proton y carbono 13. Los compuestos aislados son: acido linoleico, acido oleico, monolinoleato de glicerol, pirocalciferol, acido dehidropenicilico, dos compuestos que no han podido identificarse, un compuesto para el que se propone tentativamente una estructura y cuatro compuestos a los que se les asigna estructuras y formulas moleculares, aislados por primera vez, y no descritos con anterioridad.
