Se han elegido dos minerales naturales: dolomita (camg(co3)2), de la cual tanto en espa\u00f1a como en europa existen abundantes reservas de alta calidad, y circ\u00f3n (zrsio4).  el objetivo de este trabajo es la obtenci\u00f3n y sintetizaci\u00f3n de materiales de mgo-cazro3 capaces de sustituir con \u00e9xtio a los materiales de magnesia &#8211; espinela (mgcr2o4 mgal2o4) en la zona de cl\u00ednkerizaci\u00f3n de los hornos rotarios de cemento.  la sustituci\u00f3n de los materiales de cromo- magnesia, viene impuesta por regulaciones de salud, ya que los cromatos (cro4) son cancer\u00edgenos y est\u00e1n prohibidos por las directivas de salud europeas y usa.  los materiales se han obtenido por un proceso de sinterizaci\u00f3n reactiva de mezclas de dolomita &#8211; circ\u00f3n. Las composiciones estudiadas se han definido teniendo en cuenta las propiedades f\u00edsico &#8211; qu\u00edmicas de las materias primas y las relaciones de equilibrio del sistema mgo-cao-zro2-sio2 dentro del que est\u00e1n situados los materiales de mgo-cazro3.  se han establecido los par\u00e1metros significativos en el procesamiento de estos materiales. Se ha estudiado in situ mediante difracci\u00f3n de neutrones del mecanismo de reacci\u00f3n en mezclas dolomita &#8211; circ\u00f3n.
