Debido a las bajas perdidas de los materiales hts, se pueden realizar filtros planares altamente selectivos con un numero elevado de resonadores, pero teniendo al mismo tiempo muy pocas perdidas de insercion y un volumen reducido.  un inconveniente de los materiales superconductores es que, debido a sus bajas perdidas y al peque\u00f1o tama\u00f1o, se alcanzan altos niveles de densidad de corriente a los resonadores que producen efectos no lineales pudiendo degradar significativamente las prestaciones de los sistemas. La dificultad principal en predecir la distorsion no lineal de un determinado dispositivo se debe a que el problema no lineal es un problema distribuido, en el que aparte de las intrinsecas propiedades no lineales de los hts, tambien la geometria del circuito tiene un papel importante. A esto hay que a\u00f1adir que hasta la fecha, no hay una explicacion teorica que justifique de forma general el comportamiento no lineal medido por lo que no existen modelos suficientemente generales que puedan ser utilizados posteriormente para simular la distorsion no lineal de un dispositivo hts. Por este motivo y previo a la simulacion oportuna, es necesario establecer criterios y metodolog\u00edas que permitan la caracterizacion no lineal del material.  en esta tesis se establecen tecnicas de analisis que permiten el estudio (tanto caracterizacion como simulacion) de dispositivos pasivos superconductores. los metodos numericos que se proponen se basan en la tecnica de harmonic balance (hb). Para tener en cuenta la naturaleza distribuida de la no linealidad, la geometria del circuito o bien un modelo circuital equivalente, es discretizada en peque\u00f1os elementales en terminos de
