Sin embargo, el deposito quimico en fase vapor asistido por filamento caliente (hwcvd) permite obtener silicio nanocristalino de forma sencilla, rapida y economica. Estas propiedades hacen de la tecnica hwcvd una muy atractica tecnolog\u00eda para posibles aplicaciones industriales. por ello, el desarrollo de esta tecnica se incluyo como uno de los objetivos principales en el proyecto crystalline silicon solar cells on low temperature substrates crystal(jor3-ct97-0126) en el programa joule de la comunidad europea. Este proyecto, liderado por bp solar, pretend\u00eda el desarrollo de una tecnolog\u00eda adecuada para la producci\u00f3n a gran escala de dispositivos de silicio cristalino en capa fina sobre substratos econ\u00f3micos. El trabajo de investigacion se inicio en 1996 con la construccion de un sistema multicamara de ultra alto vac\u00edo para procesos hwcvd. El presente trabajo se centra en las propiedades opticas y electricas del silicio nanocristalino obtenido mediante hwcvd en este equipo de dep\u00f3sito. Se presta una especial atenci\u00f3n a aquellas propiedades que influir\u00e1n en el rendimiento de los dispositivos fotovoltaicos. Ademas, se consideran aspectos fisicos y tecnologicos de esta tecnica. Finalmente, se recoge un estudio de las celulas solares obtenidas mediante hwcvd durante el periodo de investigacion dentro del proyecto crystal. Hasta la finalizaci\u00f3n del periodo de investigacion recogido en la memoria, el mejor dispositivo de silicio nanocristalino hidrogenado obtenido en nuestro laboratrio ofrecio una eficiecia de conversion del 2.5%. Se trata de una estructura p-i-n obtenida enteramente mediante hwcvd sobre un substrato de vidrio recubierto por un electrodo transparente. la zona activa de 2.4 um de grosor se obtiene en menos de 30 minutos de proceso (15 a\/s).
