<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La tesis doctoral constata, mediante un examen de una muestra representativa de manuales de pronunciaci\u00f3n  del ingl\u00e9s que se utilizan en la ense\u00f1anza de esta lengua a hispanohablantes adultos:  a,- el grado de adecuaci\u00f3n de los manuales a las caracter\u00edsticas y necesidades espec\u00edficas de este tipo de estudiante en cuanto a la pronunciaci\u00f3n de la lengua extranjera.  b,- el potencial pedag\u00f3gico de los manuales a la luz del estado actual de la did\u00e1ctica de la lengua.  partiendo de los resultados que arroja el an\u00e1lisis de los manuales y del estudio del marco te\u00f3rico de la investigaci\u00f3n, se ofrece una propuesta metodol\u00f3gica que coadyuva a optimizar el trabajo de quienes elaboran, seleccionan y usan este tipo de material docente.  consta de tres partes:  1,- marco te\u00f3rico de la ense\u00f1anza de la pronunciaci\u00f3n del ingl\u00e9s a hispanohablantes adultos.  &#8211; algunas consideraciones psicoling\u00ed\u00bcisticas.  &#8211; did\u00e1ctica  de la pronunciaci\u00f3n.  &#8211; las actividades en los manuales de pronunciaci\u00f3n.  2,- an\u00e1lisis de los manuales.  &#8211; el corpus de manuales y las parrillas de an\u00e1lisis.  &#8211; an\u00e1lisis individual de los manuales.  &#8211; memoria cuantitativa de los resultados.  &#8211; valoraci\u00f3n cualitativa de conjunto.  &#8211; breve prospecci\u00f3n en la relaci\u00f3n entre los manuales de lengua y los de pronunciaci\u00f3n.  3,- propuestas metodol\u00f3gica y conclusiones finales.  &#8211; propuesta
