Se interpreta que durante el per\u00edodo sladoide terminal comenz\u00f3 una guerra con los ostionoides. los \u00faltimos, que suceden a los primeros en el registro estratigr\u00e1fico, parecen probablemente coincide con la implantaci\u00f3n de las jefaturas en las antillas por medio de una difusi\u00f3n transcaribe\u00f1a desde alg\u00fan punto entre el noroeste de venezuela y costa rica. Mediante esta interpretaci\u00f3n nos estamos alineando con el arque\u00f3logo luis chanlatte baik, cuya hip\u00f3tesis multilineal coincide parcialmente con la de ricardo alegr\u00eda. La teor\u00eda multilineal propone, contrario a la teor\u00eda unilineal dominante propuesta por irving rouse, que los ostionoides son una cultura distinta que conquista a los saladoides.  se interpreta el arte ritual y la iconograf\u00eda indo antillana por medio de analog\u00edas etnogr\u00e1ficas con el \u00e1rea amaz\u00f3nica-orinoscense. Se postula, siguiendo la teor\u00eda de alcina franch, que algunos s\u00edmbolos ceremoniales antillanos se pueden interpretar mediante el cat\u00e1logo de fosfenos que recogi\u00f3 reichel-dolmatoff entre los tukano de colombia.Se visualiza que las plazas ceremoniales ta\u00ednas y su medioambiente inmediato responden a la percepci\u00f3n del cham\u00e1n a trav\u00e9s de su experiencia ext\u00e1tica mediante el uso ritual de alucin\u00f3genos. Se postula que el parque cremonial en caguana, puerto rico, el m\u00e1s importante de los ta\u00ednos, encaja dentro del mito como el axis mundi.Adem\u00e1s que la monta\u00f1a en forma de trigonolito frente al parque era visualizada como la hierofan\u00eda de la petrificaci\u00f3n del \u00e1rbol de los alimentos, siguiendo el mito caribe maquiriatare.
