Con este objetivo, se ha estudiado y desarrollado diversas t\u00e9cnicas, como la segmentaci\u00f3n, estiamci\u00f3n de movimiento, seguimiento, etc., Que de manera entrelazada permite obtener un sistema de control de tr\u00e1fico basado en visi\u00f3n. Como principales tareas de dicho sistema podemos citar: medici\u00f3n del volumen del tr\u00e1fico, seguimiento de trayectorias de los veh\u00edculos, y la detecci\u00f3n de diversas situaciones an\u00f3malas, como veh\u00edculo parados, invasiones de carriles contrarios, etc.  el m\u00e9todo de segmentaci\u00f3n divide cada imagen en regiones uniformes. las regiones extra\u00eddas para cada imagen son tomdas por un proceso de segmentaci\u00f3n  basada  en movimiento que une las que corresponden a la proyecci\u00f3n de un mismo objeto.L a integraci\u00f3n temporal trata de hacer uso de una idea no del todo explotada hasta ahora: ir acumulando (integrar) la informaci\u00f3n obtenida tras el procesamiento de cada imagen de la secuencia, para hacer uso de ella en el tratamiento de cada nueva imagen. De esta forma las estimaciones son m\u00e1s acertadas (se dispone de mayor informaci\u00f3n) y la influencia de los errores tiende a ser menor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
