Se comprueba que no se producen modificaciones de la posici\u00f3n de la cromatina del espermatozoide durante su maduraci\u00f3n.  a nivel ultraestructural, se aplica de forma novedosa un m\u00e9todo de estudio ultraestructural (whole-mounting\u00bb\u00bb) mediante microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de transmisi\u00f3n al estudio de espermatozoides maduros. Esta metodolog\u00eda consigue la visualizaci\u00f3n del espermatozoide \u00edntegro, reduciendo en costes y tiempo de realizaci\u00f3n entre 20 y 52 veces respectivamente con respecto a la microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de tansmisi\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica. Proprociona adem\u00e1s la detecci\u00f3n de patolog\u00eda ultraestructural no visible mediante microscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica.  otra aplicaci\u00f3n del citado, m\u00e9todo, permite la evaluaci\u00f3n funcional mediante hos-test, demostrando que la alteraci\u00f3n morfol\u00f3gica que se produce en las colas del espermatozoide es debida a un en rollamiento de la cola en lugar de un edema de membrana como se afirmaba.  el m\u00e9todo del dbd-fish (dna breakage detection by fluorescence in situ hybridization), se aplica por primera vez a espermatozoides humanos, demostr\u00e1ndose como una t\u00e9cnica flexible y \u00fatil, no solo para la detecci\u00f3n de adn da\u00f1ado en secuenicas espec\u00edficas o en el genoma entero, si no tambi\u00e9n para revelar caracter\u00edsticas peculiares de la estructura de la cromatina empaquetada mediante histonas:  palabras claves: espermatozoide, genes nor, microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica, hos-test, cromatina,
