Este centro suponia la consolidacion de las tentativas de los intelectuales ilustrados que abrieron diversas clases y escuelas para la formacion actoral y tradujeron tratados de declamacion extranjeros. Nuestra tesis doctoral ofrece, en su primera parte, un estudio de estas tentativas para centrarse, en la segunda, en la escuela de declamacion espa\u00f1ola. Estudiamos la reglamentacion y el regimen disciplinario, el corpus de textos que escenificaban los alumnos, el impacto  en la vida profesional del momento, asi como los tratados empleados en las clases. Prsentamos la evolucion de las diferentes disciplinas -declamacion, literatura castellana, esgrima, baile, gramatica castellana y religion- desde la fundacion del centro hasta la aprobacion de la ley moyano, por la que los estudios teatrales se consideran ense\u00f1anzas superiores. Ofrecemos una semblanza biografica detallada de los maestros, de forma especial, de los prestigiosos actores joaquin caprara, rafael perez, carlos latorre, jose garcia luna, antonio de guzman y juan lombia. Ademas, analizamos la escuela de declamacion espa\u00f1ola en relacion con la mejora del status social del actor y su influencia en la apertura de otros centro para la instruccion en las artes escenicas. Una gran parte de nuestro trabajo se ha realizado en diferentes archivos y a partir de documentacion hasta la fecha desconocida.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
