En una primera parte, se presenta la s\u00edntesis una serie de nuevos complejos luminiscentes mono-, di- y trinucleares basados en ru\/os, estudi\u00e1ndose sus propiedades de absorci\u00f3n y emisi\u00f3n, as\u00ed como los tiempos de vida del estado excitado. En la segunda parte, la naturaleza heterodit\u00f3pica de l se explota en el dise\u00f1o de sistemas metalosupramoleculares: cajas y pol\u00edgonos moleculares, homo- y heteromet\u00e1licos, con \u00edndices de coordinaci\u00f3n variables.   en el cap\u00edtulo 3 se presenta una estrategia que permite la deposici\u00f3n con precisi\u00f3n nanom\u00e9trica de derivados cati\u00f3nicos de la mol\u00e9cula im\u00e1n mn12 sobre superficies de silicio. El m\u00e9todo combina la utilizaci\u00f3n de la t\u00e9cnica de oxidaci\u00f3n local y las interacciones electrost\u00e1ticas entre la mol\u00e9cula y una superficie
