Albicans y c. Dubliniensis que permita estudiar la sensibilidad in vitro de las biopel\u00edculas de candida a diferentes f\u00e1rmacos antif\u00fangicos, como anidulafungina, micafungina y voriconazol, que poseen gran utilidad en el tratamiento de las candidiasis invasoras y en la profilaxis de la colonizaci\u00f3n de los biomateriales que componen los cat\u00e9teres y otros materiales prot\u00e9sicos.  se ha desarrollado y validado un modelo in vitro de biopel\u00edculas sobre poliestireno y se han comparado los resultados con las t\u00e9cnicas tradicionales de sensibilidad in vitro, como el m\u00e9todo de microdiluci\u00f3n m27-a2 del clsi.  se ha observado que todos los aislamientos de c. Albicans y c. Dubliniensis desarrollaban biopel\u00edculas sobre las placas de poliestireno con independencia de su origen cl\u00ednico. El voriconazol posee una actividad antif\u00fangica variable sobre el desarrollo inicial de las biopel\u00edculas de ambas especies de candida pero no muestra una actividad antif\u00fangica apreciable contra las biopel\u00edculas preformadas de c. Albicans y c.  Dubliniensis. Sin embargo, anidulafungina y micafungina han mostrado una actividad excelente, aunque variable, tanto contra las c\u00e9lulas planct\u00f3nicas de c. Albicans y c. Dubliniensis as\u00ed como frente a las biopel\u00edculas preformadas de estas especies por lo que pueden ser consideradas como una alternativa eficaz para el tratamiento de estas
