Mediante una metodolog\u00eda nueva se ensayan los filtros y mascarillas dentro de un ambiente controlado con part\u00edculas de polvo industrial en suspensi\u00f3n. De esta forma, se han analizado 15 filtros contra part\u00edculas correspondientes a mascarillas desechables con clase de protecci\u00f3n ffp1, ffp2 y ffp3, y a m\u00e1scaras de filtros reemplazables con clase de protecci\u00f3n p1 y p3. la caracterizaci\u00f3n de las part\u00edculas de polvo, arrastradas por la corriente de aire inspiratoria, se realiza mediante el c\u00e1lculo de su curva granulom\u00e9trica por difracci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser, de su relaci\u00f3n forma\/tama\u00f1o por an\u00e1lisis digital de im\u00e1genes (adi), y de su carga por rozamiento mediante ensayo en jaula de faraday. otras propiedades de los filtros se determinan mediante el ensayo normalizado de permeabilidad y por porosimetr\u00eda de intrusi\u00f3n de mercurio (mip). adem\u00e1s, se analiza la estructura interna del tejido filtrante mediante microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de barrido (sem). finalmente se compara la eficacia de varios equipos de protecci\u00f3n respiratoria a trav\u00e9s
