The first chapter traces a chronological profile of william goldman\u00c2\u00bfs professional trajectory in order to evaluate the reasons and the scope of such an extensive professional career, and to build a solid chronological and factual base as a starting point for subsequent analysis. the second chapter delves deeper into william goldman\u00c2\u00bfs own conscience as a writer. The analysis has focused on william goldman\u00c2\u00bfs more personal movie work: butch cassidy and the sundance kid (1969), the great waldo pepper (1975), the princess bride (1974-1987), the sea kings (1979-1991), the year of he comet (1979-1992) and maverick (1994), six scripts not based on any previous work which belong to the adventure-comedy genre, and in which goldman\u00c2\u00bfs personal use of irony is revealed in a very clear manner. The aim is to portray goldman\u00c2\u00bfs poetic cosmovision, understood as a vital attitude \u00c2\u00bfwhich interprets the status of mankind in the world\u00c2\u00bf that is present in his work.  the third chapter is devoted to the two most relevant original scripts in his career \u00c2\u00bfand his most cherished\u00c2\u00bf butch cassidy and the sundance kid and the princess bride. These scripts very clearly reveal the author\u00c2\u00bfs conscience and they can be considered as the most comprehensive and completely finished scripts of his career.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
