El objetivo ha sido realizar un recorrido cr\u00edtico por las diferentes l\u00edneas de conocimiento desarrolladas por las disciplinas contempor\u00e1neas asociadas a las ciencias del espect\u00e1culo para propiciar una nueva lectura sobre dicho proceso creativo. para ello, hemos delimitado tres perspectivas de an\u00e1lisis: 1) el actor como fen\u00f3meno de significaci\u00f3n y comunicaci\u00f3n; 2) el actor como fen\u00f3meno sociocultural; y 3) el actor como fen\u00f3meno psicof\u00edsico. La primera vertiente abarca los estudios semi\u00f3ticos; la segunda los estudios socio-antropol\u00f3gicos; y la tercera los estudios psicol\u00f3gicos, biol\u00f3gicos y el \u00e1mbito de las neurociencias. el estudio propuesto nos permite hacer una reinterpretaci\u00f3n de los componentes que integran el arte del actor aportando fundamentos cient\u00edficos para una teor\u00eda de la
