{"id":91073,"date":"2009-07-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-07-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/sin-categoria\/human-genetic-diversity-in-genes-related-to-host-pathogen-interactions\/"},"modified":"2009-07-01T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2009-07-01T00:00:00","slug":"human-genetic-diversity-in-genes-related-to-host-pathogen-interactions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deberes.net\/tesis\/enfermedades-infecciosas\/human-genetic-diversity-in-genes-related-to-host-pathogen-interactions\/","title":{"rendered":"Human genetic diversity in genes related to host-pathogen interactions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Tesis doctoral de <strong> Anna Ferrer Admetlla <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La presente tesis doctoral incluye cuatro trabajos con un mismo objetivo: determinar si los pat\u00f3genos (virus, bacterias, par\u00e1sitos&#8230;) Han ejercido presiones selectivas en el genoma de sus hu\u00e9spedes, por ejemplo los humanos.A sabiendas que la detecci\u00f3n de la huella de la selecci\u00f3n permite identificar las regiones que han sido funcionalmente importantes a lo largo de la evoluci\u00f3n de una especie, nos hemos dispuesto a estudiar las posibles se\u00f1ales de selecci\u00f3n en genes relacionados con la interacci\u00f3n hu\u00e9sped-pat\u00f3geno. En concreto hemos analizado genes que codifican para: a) componentes del sistema inmune innato y b) enzimas de glicosilaci\u00f3n, la mayor\u00eda de los cuales participan en cuatro de las principales rutas biosint\u00e9ticas de glicanos, en diferentes poblaciones humanas. Del presente trabajo se desprende que ambas categor\u00edas de genes presentan claros se\u00f1ales de selecci\u00f3n y que en funci\u00f3n del contexto biol\u00f3gico en el que se encuentran ciertos
