En esta tesis profundizamos en el mecanismo de captaci\u00f3n de melatonina por parte de las c\u00e9lulas tumorales, hasta el momento considerado como una simple difusi\u00f3n pasiva, para e incrementar los niveles de  captaci\u00f3n de melatonina y aumentar sus propiedades antiproliferativas y antitumorales. Adem\u00e1s para conseguir determinar este mecanismo de captaci\u00f3n se crean nuevos m\u00e9todos cromatogr\u00e1ficos aplicables a partir de esta tesis a todos los modelos
