El desaf\u00edo es desarrollar sistemas de gran velocidad de procesamiento y fiabilidad que constituyan un medio eficaz para la detecci\u00f3n de pat\u00f3genos. En este sentido, los inmunosensores se presentan como una alternativa de gran potencial para el diagn\u00f3stico biol\u00f3gico. Teniendo en cuenta estos factores, se ha dise\u00f1ado un biosensor inmunomagn\u00e9tico para la detecci\u00f3n y cuantificaci\u00f3n de especies biol\u00f3gicas en muestras tanto de origen alimentario como cl\u00ednico. el principio de detecci\u00f3n propuesto se basa en la inmovilizaci\u00f3n de anticuerpos espec\u00edficos contra el ant\u00edgeno objetivo sobre la superficie sensible. El biosensor debe ser capaz de detectar peque\u00f1as variaciones de campo magn\u00e9tico provocadas por la presencia de part\u00edculas superparamagn\u00e9ticas unidas a la especie biol\u00f3gica en cuesti\u00f3n, que previamente ha sido inmovilizada sobre la superficie del sensor mediante reacciones ant\u00edgeno-anticuerpo. Con este objetivo, se han estudiado distintas alternativas en cuanto a material sensible se refiere. Debido a su sensibilidad a bajos campos, se han contemplado varias combinaciones magnetorresistivas. el dise\u00f1o del sensor consta de una serie de microcanales paralelos en los que se han integrado diversos elementos sensibles. Los dipolos inducidos por las microesferas bajo la influencia de un campo magn\u00e9tico externo permitir\u00e1n la detecci\u00f3n de la especie biol\u00f3gica sometida a estudio sobre la superfice
