Se opto por un modelo componencial clasico del significado, segun el cual los terminos pueden ser analizados basandose en sus elementos componentes.  nuestra propuesta era que los elementos componentes de un grupo de verbos mentales podrian definirse a traves de dimensiones que servirian para predecir las relaciones significado entre dichos verbos. Con este objetivo desarrollamos varios estudios de tipo multivariado correlacional. Un primer estudio nos permitio analizar la consistencia de las dimensiones teoricas dise\u00f1adas. Un segundo estudio nos ofrecio un mapa de las relaciones de significado entre los verbos mentales estudiados.  posteriormente se analizaron conjuntamente las relaciones de significado y y las valoraciones en las dimensiones teoricas. A partir de los resultados se propone un modelo psicosemantico que permite predecir una parte importante de la variabilidad de las relaciones de significado entre los verbos mentales estudiados en
